What it covers, and what it does not
A warranty that reads well and excludes everything is worth nothing. Here is the whole of both lists.
Covered
- The part we fitted, if it fails within its warranty period.
- The labour to remove the failed part and fit its replacement.
- A return visit for the same fault inside the labour window, not billed again.
- Diagnosis of the returning fault, at no further diagnostic fee.
Not covered
- A different fault in the same appliance. That is a new visit and a new diagnostic.
- Damage from misuse, an unstable supply, water ingress or an impact after the repair.
- Consumable and wear items: lamps, filters, gaskets degraded by cleaning chemicals, batteries.
- Anything disturbed, adjusted or opened by somebody else after we left.
- Damage that accrued because a maintenance routine the appliance asks for was not run — filters, cleaning cycles, vent paths.
- The appliance as a whole. We warrant our work, not the machine.
What to do if the fault comes back
Call +1 (904) 478-8963 and quote the invoice number. If the same fault has returned inside the labour window there is no further diagnostic fee — we come back, and the return visit is not billed.
If what has failed is a different component, the honest answer is that it is a new fault and a new visit at the flat $129. We will say which of the two it is before we come out, based on what you describe, and we will say if we are not sure.
Keep the invoice. It carries the part number, the date and the warranty period, and it is the only document either of us needs.
The one we cannot administer
Coquina Hearth Service is an independent business. Work under a manufacturer's own warranty has to be carried out by the service network that manufacturer appoints, and we are not part of it — so if your Wolf appliance is still inside the manufacturer's warranty period, call them before you call us. Paying an independent shop for a repair somebody else would have covered is a bad trade, and we would rather lose the booking than take it.
Once that period is over, this warranty is the one that applies, and it is the whole of what we promise. The rest of the small print is on the terms page; the fee is on the pricing page.
