Pricing
One fee to find out, then a number on paper
There is no hourly rate to watch and no minimum that grows while somebody thinks. The diagnostic is flat, and it comes off the repair.
$80
Flat diagnostic
Flat $80 diagnostic, credited in full toward the repair if you go ahead with it.
What the diagnostic buys, and what it does not
Both lists in full, because the second one is where surprises usually live.
Included
- Travel anywhere inside the normal service area.
- Time on site to isolate the fault, however long that takes.
- Measurement rather than assumption: pressures, resistances, continuity, temperatures.
- A written diagnosis naming the failed component and the part number.
- A written estimate for the repair, if a repair is worth doing.
Not included
- Parts. Those are quoted separately, at the price on the estimate.
- The labour to fit them, which is also on the estimate before you agree to it.
- Work on any appliance made by someone other than the one manufacturer we service.
- Anything outside the appliance: cabinetry, gas supply beyond the connection, house wiring, ducting runs inside a wall.
- Heating and air conditioning of any kind — furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, conditioned-air ductwork, make-up air units. Kitchen exhaust is where our ducting stops.
What the repairs themselves have cost
Money
What does the repair itself cost, once the fault is named?
Every band this bench works to, parts and labour together. A band is not a quote: the firm figure is written down after the diagnosis.
| Work | Parts and labour |
|---|---|
| Diagnostic visit | $80 flat, credited |
| Igniter or spark module replacement | $190–$500 |
| Burner valve or orifice service | $210–$650 |
| Oven thermostat or temperature sensor | $170–$520 |
| Convection fan or motor | $250–$730 |
| Control board or touch panel | $420–$1,100 |
| Door hinge, glass or seal | $180–$640 |
Bands, not quotes: they are what this work has actually cost, parts and labour together, from $80 at the door to the firm figure that goes on paper after the diagnosis.
- What does a Wolf repair cost in St. Johns County?
- A flat $80 to diagnose, credited to the repair, then the band the failed part sits in: Igniter or spark module replacement runs $190–$500, burner valve or orifice service $210–$650, parts and labour together. Nothing is ordered before you have that in writing.
- What is covered after the work is done?
- 90 days on labour, 365 days on parts, genuine OEM parts only. Dated from the invoice, and a return visit for the same fault inside the labour window is not billed again. EPA Section 608 certified technicians handle anything involving refrigerant.
- When is replacing cheaper than repairing?
- Replacing instead of repairing runs $5,200–$10,500 (wall oven or built-in oven, the usual repair-or-replace comparison) or $8,500–$16,500 (dual-fuel or gas range, 36 inch and up). A comparable Wolf range, rangetop or wall oven, appliance only — before delivery, installation, ventilation or cabinetry. National appliance pricing, not Florida labour.
Nothing is ordered on a verbal maybe
You get a written estimate before any part is ordered or any labour is billed. It names the part, the part price, the labour and the lead time. You can take it away, sit on it, or take it to somebody else — the diagnostic bought you a real answer and the answer is yours.
If a panel comes off and the fault turns out not to be what the estimate assumed, work stops there and you get a revised number before it resumes. An estimate that quietly grows on the invoice is not an estimate.
When the honest answer is that the appliance is not worth repairing, that is what the written diagnosis will say, with the part price that led to the conclusion. The arithmetic behind that judgement — these bands against what replacing the appliance costs — is set out on repair or replace.

Customer feedback
On the money, afterwards
4.3 out of 5, across 87 customer reviews. Each entry below is one visit, in the words of the person who paid for it.
The door seal had hardened and the oven was venting into the cabinet above it. He fitted a new seal, checked the hinge tension, and showed us the swollen shelf edge so we could see what it had been doing.
Casimir N.
The unit steams again, so the work itself was right. What I object to is the scheduling: two mornings held open, two days with nobody at the door, and an apology only once I said I would look elsewhere.
Henrike Q.
It runs, and the man who came was courteous throughout. But the first visit ended with a part ordered that turned out to be the wrong one, and it was the second visit that solved anything.
